Yuuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student haunted by Rika Orimoto, his childhood friend who has become an unusually powerful curse. His situation attracts the attention of Satoru Gojou, a teacher at Jujutsu High, where young exorcists train to fight curses. Gojou persuades Yuuta to enroll, giving him a chance to understand the curse attached to him instead of simply fearing it. As Yuuta enters the world of jujutsu, he must learn whether he can gain enough control and skill to face the presence that has followed him since childhood.
