Tower of God

The Tower calls chosen people known as Regulars and promises that those who reach its summit can obtain whatever they desire, from wealth and fame to authority or something beyond them all. Twenty-Fifth Baam, however, is not one of those chosen climbers.

Bam has spent his life in a dark cave until Rachel appears and teaches him about the world outside. When she leaves to climb the Tower, he refuses to lose the person who has become the center of his life and follows after her. In doing so, Bam opens the Tower's gates himself. Such entrants are called Irregulars, individuals whose arrival has historically been powerful enough to shake the Tower's foundations. His pursuit of Rachel becomes the beginning of a much larger journey upward.
