Teru Mikami

Teru Mikami is a lawyer and prosecuting agent in Death Note with an uncompromising belief in justice. He worships Kira as a god and is prepared to support him even at the cost of his own life.

Mikami's commitment to punishment is rooted in a childhood spent standing up for what he believed was right, even when doing so made him a target for bullying. Academically gifted and highly disciplined, he develops an extremely rigid routine and approaches his work with intelligence, punctuality, and an intensity that mirrors the ideals he associates with Kira.
