Alphonse Elric

Alphonse Elric is a main character in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and a young alchemist whose body was lost during a forbidden transmutation. His brother Edward saved his soul by binding it to a suit of armor.

Alphonse's soul remains anchored to the armor through a blood seal drawn with Edward's blood. Protecting that seal is essential: if it is removed or destroyed, Alphonse's soul will be lost.
