Steins;Gate The Movie – Load Region of Déjà Vu

After spending a year in America, Kurisu Makise returns to Akihabara and reunites with Rintarou Okabe. Their reunion soon turns troubling when Okabe begins experiencing recurring flashes of other timelines, apparently caused by the accumulated consequences of his time travel.

The effects worsen until Okabe suddenly vanishes from the world, leaving Kurisu as the only person who remembers that he ever existed. She is then forced into a painful conflict between scientific caution and personal loyalty. Okabe had warned her against further time travel because of the damage it could cause to world lines, but obeying that advice means abandoning him. Any attempt to rescue him risks changing the past, present, and future yet again.
