Steins;Gate

Steins;Gate centers on self-proclaimed mad scientist Rintarou Okabe and the small Akihabara lab he shares with childhood friend Mayuri Shiina and hacker Itaru Hashida. Their experiments revolve around odd "future gadgets," including a Phone Microwave that can be operated through text messages. What starts as eccentric tinkering becomes far more serious when a string of mysterious events reveals that the device can send messages into the past. Because those messages can alter history, Okabe and the other lab members are drawn into the consequences of changing events that have already happened.
