BLUE LOCK

Seeking a striker capable of leading Japan to World Cup success, the Japanese Football Association creates a severe new training program built around direct competition. Three hundred high school players are brought together and made to compete for a single place at the top.

Yoichi Isagi, Meguru Bachira, Rensuke Kunigami, Hyouma Chigiri, and many other young forwards enter an environment where each player's individual ability is measured against hundreds of rivals chasing the same goal. BLUE LOCK centers on this experiment to produce Japan's next elite striker, turning soccer development into an elimination contest in which only one player is expected to emerge as the forward capable of defining a new era for the national game.
