THE SERIES

Welcome to the other side.

Ichigo Kurosaki has always seen ghosts. Then a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki arrives, and seeing the dead turns into protecting them.

Bleach builds outward from that meeting: a close-knit group of friends, the laws of Soul Society, and enemies who challenge the balance between worlds. Its identity is just as much in Kubo's character design, sword names, and style as it is in the fights.
