Shin Youngwoo is struggling financially outside the game and doing little better as Grid inside Satisfy, a virtual-reality game. His breakthrough is not a sudden talent for swordsmanship. He discovers the inheritance of a legendary blacksmith and gains a class that lets him make extraordinary equipment.

There is a catch: the class change sends his level backward. The appeal is watching him turn an apparently terrible starting position into an advantage through crafting, persistence, and increasingly powerful items.
