Riishu

Riishu, also known as Lishu and the Virtuous Consort, is a supporting character in The Apothecary Diaries. She resides in the Diamond Palace of the inner court and was first placed there as a high consort while still a young child. Although she later left after the previous Emperor's death, her family arranged for her to return to the position.

Riishu has little influence within the inner court and receives little interest from the current Emperor because of her youth. She is naive, commands little respect, and is bullied even by her own attendants.
