Weathering With You

High school student Hodaka Morishima leaves his isolated island home for Tokyo, only to find himself almost immediately struggling for money and living in isolation. He eventually finds work writing for an occult magazine while persistent rain settles over the city day after day.

During this difficult new life, Hodaka meets Hina Amano, a cheerful young woman who lives with her younger brother. Hina possesses an extraordinary ability: she can stop the rain and bring clear skies. Her power gives Hodaka a glimpse of something remarkable amid the crowded, rain-soaked city, and their meeting draws the two teenagers into one another's lives. The story follows their growing connection against a Tokyo where abnormal weather and Hina's supernatural gift have become inseparable from their everyday circumstances.
