Vermeil in Gold

Alto Goldfield is struggling academically at Royal Ortigia Magic Academy and needs a way to improve his standing before graduation. Instead of solving the problem conventionally, he attempts a summoning and accidentally binds the legendary demon Vermeil as his familiar.

Vermeil's tremendous magical power could solve Alto's academic problems, but maintaining that power requires physical contact in the form of kisses. Their new arrangement also provokes Alto's jealous childhood friend Lilia, turning his attempt to rescue his grades into an increasingly complicated mix of magic, rivalry, and romance.
