The Future Diary

Yukiteru Amano is a loner who prefers recording his life in a phone diary and talking to Deus Ex Machina, whom he believes is imaginary. He soon discovers that Deus is real and has chosen him for a deadly contest involving eleven other participants. Each contestant receives a special diary capable of predicting the future, but every diary works differently and carries its own strengths and weaknesses. Over the next ninety days, the participants must use those predictions to survive a battle royale until only one remains. The final survivor will take Deus's place as the new God of Time and Space.
