The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity

The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity begins with two neighboring schools separated by reputation and social class. Chidori High is a boys' school associated with poor grades and troubled students, while Kikyo Girls' High serves daughters from wealthy families. Rintarou Tsumugi, a Chidori second-year with an intimidating face but a gentle nature, meets Kaoruko Waguri while helping at his family's patisserie. They connect immediately, only for Rintarou to learn that Kaoruko attends Kikyo, placing their growing friendship across a divide their classmates take very seriously.
