The Eminence in Shadow

The Eminence in Shadow follows Cid Kagenou, who wants neither the spotlight of a hero nor the notoriety of a grand villain. After being transported to another world, he pursues his preferred role: operating from the shadows and secretly pulling strings. Cid invents stories about a dangerous cult and unexpectedly becomes the leader of the underground organization Shadow Garden. The joke turns serious when the supposedly fictional cult proves to be real, leaving Cid’s imagined conflict tangled with an actual enemy.
