The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

Kusuo Saiki possesses an extraordinary range of psychic abilities, including telepathy and x-ray vision, but he considers them a source of inconvenience rather than a gift. More than anything, he wants an ordinary life without attention, complications, or the constant problems created by powers he would rather keep hidden.

Remaining unnoticed proves nearly impossible. Although Kusuo tries to conceal his abilities from his classmates, he repeatedly attracts people whose personalities make quiet anonymity even harder to maintain. Among them are the simple-minded Riki Nendou and Shun Kaidou, whose own dramatic ideas add fresh complications to Kusuo's routine. His attempts to avoid trouble therefore become a continuing source of comedy, as supernatural power does surprisingly little to help him achieve the normal, hassle-free school life he wants.
