That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

Thirty-seven-year-old Satoru Mikami leads an unsatisfying life marked by a dead-end job and little sense of fulfillment. After he is killed by a robber, however, death becomes the beginning of something entirely new: he awakens in a fantasy world as a slime monster. Adapting to an unfamiliar body and environment, Satoru begins exploring what his new existence allows him to do. His encounters with other monsters quickly turn a strange second life into something much larger than simple survival. The actions of the newly reincarnated Rimuru Tempest begin setting off a chain of events with consequences that reach far beyond his own circumstances and reshape the world around him.
