Sword Art Online: Alicization

Sword Art Online: Alicization begins with Kirito awakening in an unfamiliar forest of enormous trees with no clear explanation for how he arrived there. Searching for answers, he meets a young boy who appears to be an NPC, yet expresses emotions that seem fully human. As the two look for the boy's parents, Kirito begins recovering a strange memory that should not belong to him: a childhood shared with this same boy and a golden-haired girl. The girl's name is Alice, and remembering her only deepens the mystery surrounding the world, Kirito's connection to it, and the people who inhabit it.
