Suzume

Suzume follows 17-year-old Suzume Iwato, who lives in a quiet town in Kyushu. After meeting a young man searching for a door, she follows him to ruins in the mountains and opens a mysterious doorway. Soon, similar doors begin appearing across Japan, allowing disasters to emerge from the other side. Suzume sets out to close them before more destruction can occur, and the journey becomes one of personal growth as well as a race to contain the spreading danger.
