Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles

Rio grows up fighting to survive in the slums after losing his mother at a young age. His life changes when memories belonging to Haruto Amakawa suddenly awaken within him. Haruto died in an accident while hoping to reunite with a childhood friend, leaving Rio with the memories of two lives and the realization that he exists in a world of swords and sorcery.

Soon afterward, Rio becomes involved in stopping an attempted kidnapping of a princess. His actions lead to enrollment at a prestigious school attended by children of the nobility, thrusting a boy raised at the bottom of society into an environment defined by status and privilege. Carrying two sets of memories, Rio tries to navigate that hierarchy while confronting the path ahead of him.
