Graduate students Shinya Yukimura and Ayame Himuro still lack enough data to scientifically prove that their feelings for each other are love. Seeking new methods, they turn to the Biological Sciences department and begin measuring reactions such as oxytocin levels in romantic situations, determined to put their relationship through another round of experiments.
