Sankarea: Undying Love

Chihiro Furuya is fascinated by zombies to the point that ordinary living people hold little interest for him. When his cat dies, that obsession becomes an experiment: he decides to find a way to bring the animal back to life.

During his attempts at resurrection, Furuya encounters Rea Sanka, a girl whose circumstances suddenly make his interest in the undead far less theoretical. After an accident leaves Rea transformed into a real zombie, Furuya is confronted with the very thing he has always romanticized standing directly in front of him. Sankarea: Undying Love follows the complications that arise when his fantasy of zombies becomes part of his actual life.
