My Happy Marriage

Miyo Saimori is born into a noble family but grows up without affection after losing her mother and suffering mistreatment from her father, stepmother, and stepsister. Her family eventually arranges for her to marry Kiyoka Kudou, a soldier notorious for being cold enough that previous prospective brides fled his household within days.

Expecting little kindness and unable to return home, Miyo arrives at the Kudou residence resigned to her circumstances. Kiyoka's first treatment of her does little to challenge his reputation, so she quietly spends her days cooking and handling household chores. Over time, however, the distance between them begins to change. As Miyo and Kiyoka gradually open up to one another, the arranged match starts developing into a relationship neither initially expected.
