Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms

The long-lived people of Iorph remain youthful for centuries while living apart from human society and weaving daily history into cloth called Hibiol. Maquia, an orphan among them, loses her home when the Mezarte army invades in search of the secret behind Iorph longevity. After escaping alone, she discovers an orphaned infant named Ariel and chooses to raise him. Their bond grows across changing years and rising tensions, even as Maquia's ageless life and Ariel's human lifespan place them on very different paths through time.
