Time Photo Studio looks abandoned from the outside, but the small shop is actually operated by Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang. The two men possess unusual abilities that allow them to enter photographs, which they use together to carry out requests brought to them by customers.

Their work turns ordinary images into gateways to situations hidden inside the past. Even with Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi cooperating, however, entering a photograph does not guarantee that events will unfold safely or predictably. Each assignment can create consequences beyond the original request, forcing the pair to deal with problems that arise when their extraordinary abilities intersect with other people's lives.
