In the year 5053, aristocrats Albert de Morcerf and Franz d'Epinay travel to the moon city of Luna for Carnival. There, Albert meets the mysterious and charming Count of Monte Cristo, forms a friendship with him, and introduces him into French society while the Count pursues plans of his own.
