With Majin Buu defeated, Earth is peaceful enough for its heroes to settle into ordinary routines. Even Gokuu Son has taken up an unexpected occupation as a radish farmer rather than spending every day fighting powerful enemies.

That calm is threatened far away when Beerus, the God of Destruction, awakens and begins searching for the mysterious Saiyan God. His search eventually brings him toward Earth, placing Goku, Vegeta, and their friends in the path of a power unlike the opponents of their recent past.
