BOCCHI THE ROCK!

Hitori Gotou, nicknamed Bocchi-chan, is intensely shy and struggles to speak comfortably with other people. In middle school, she takes up guitar because she imagines joining a band might finally give her a way to shine and connect with others. Instead, she spends six hours a day practicing alone, becoming a skilled player and posting performances online as “Guitar Hero” without ever finding real bandmates or making friends. By high school, her social life has barely changed. Then Nijika Ijichi, the drummer of Kessoku Band, reaches out to her. That meeting gives Hitori the opportunity she has wanted for years and begins to alter her isolated daily life little by little.
