A Certain Scientific Railgun

Academy City is a technologically advanced metropolis where most of its 2.3 million residents are students and education centers heavily on developing esper abilities. Mikoto Misaka is one of the city's highest-level espers and attends the prestigious Tokiwadai school alongside her roommate Kuroko Shirai, a member of the student law-enforcement group Judgement. Their circle also includes Judgement member Kazari Uiharu and her classmate Ruiko Saten, who has no esper powers.
