Beyond the ‘Bling-Blang-Bing-Born’ of it all, Mashle: Muscles And Magic is probably one of the most refreshing titles to come out in recent years. And part of that is this clear Harry Potter parody combines elements of Shounen manga with its power ranking system, to create something entirely new and fun. Like the Divine Visionaries in Mashle.
Now, the Divine Visionaries are an important part of the Mashle lore. They are the most gifted students amongst the 3 magical schools, and are often regarded as God’s supposed Chosen Ones. And they don’t remain at top just in school. The Divine Visionaries go on to become some of the most influential people in the realm, making up the Bureau Of Magic. The Top Divine Visionaries control the Top Departments.
Though, at least this means the choices are based on merit rather than nefarious ways. Each of the Divine Visionaries are masters at some form of skill, making them some of the strongest characters in the series. But how do all the super powerful people stack up against each other? Let’s rank the Top 10 Divine Visionaries in Mashle, in another round of Get Ranked!
Table of Contents
10. Sophina Biblia
They do say ‘knowledge is power’, right? And in the case of Sophina Biblia, a member of the Forbidden Magical Texts Administration, it couldn’t be more true. Think of her as a more literal Hermione Granger, with an emphasis on the literal part. For you see, Sophina is the Knowledge Cane, using word magic to cast spells and turn her opponent’s words against them. But aside from her impeccable magic stores, she’s also just freakishly strong?
At this point though, super strength is just a Mashle given.
9. Agito Tyrone
So, while I could make a joke about Hagrid here, I’m going to cool it on the Harry Potter stuff. Because caring for Magical Creatures is a pretty ubiquitous thing across fantasy, and Agito Tyrone wouldn’t be the only one. Though, he might be the most peculiar. Agito comes across as very wallflower–esque, but the man is actually a very skilled wizard, who can control dragons, of all things. This is his personal magic too, so not many can do the same.
But perhaps there’s a reason for it. Because as much as the power might burn the Dragon Cane, at least he seems to enjoy the pain?
8. Tsurara Halestone
Another ice-queen archetype? Surprisingly no, Tsurara Halestone is anything but. Because as formidable as their ice magic is, Tsurara doesn’t seem entirely too fond of it. Instead, they really wish they’d been born with a ‘warmer’ nature of magic. But that doesn’t mean we discount the Ice Cane, whose magic not only has a huge attack range, but also an ‘insta-kill’ quality because she can freeze multiple beings at one time. Like, they are not something to be trifled with.
Then again, I think Tsurara would give it all up if they could just work at a Hot Springs or something, since that’s what they invest all their time and money on.
7. Orter Madle
Okay, we will switch things up here in the sense that I will not be referencing Harry Potter, but a second more mysterious thing. I can’t even help it, Orter Madle and his sand magic is so similar to Gaara from Naruto, in the way that it can be both used as an offense and defense. Sand Magic in general tends to be pretty versatile, and Orter knows it. So, he uses his natural prowess in and hones his skills further, becoming one of the rare Third-Liners.
Also, like, I think being able to access a God is pretty OP. Probably why the Desert Cane hates Mashle, who is running on cream puffs and no magic and still getting more powerful.
6. Kaldo Gehenna
Where there is ice magic, you will have fire magic. It’s simply the law of the Fantasy world. And Kaldo Gehenna happens to be the Flame Cane, with an enchanted sword that burns with dark flames. And fire magic is his specialty, considering he doesn’t even need a wand to control it. But perhaps Kaldo’s greatest asset isn’t his magic, it’s his intelligence. Kaldo is cunning, goading people into playing his ‘games’ and making sure they know their place.
Though, this elegance and control is pretty much the norm for the Gehenna family, which has birthed many Divine Visionaries throughout the years.
5. Renatus Ravol
I love Mo Dao Zu Shi and my character during Dungeons And Dragons sessions happens to be a baby Necromancer herself. But rest assured that that doesn’t color how I view Renatus Ravol, Mashle’s resident Necromancer. He’s brash and obnoxious, sure, but the guy has earned it by being able to literally resurrect body parts from the dead. And while Renatus works at the Magical Cemetery Administration, he himself is immune to death, earning the title of the ‘Immortal Cane’.
I mean, if you’re backed by Thanatos, the God of Death himself, of course you’d be one of the most formidable people in a battle. Renalus is gifted, and he knows it.
4. Rayne Ames
Rayne Ames might be hiding a secret adorable side to him with his bunny rabbit obsession, but that doesn’t mean his cold personality is for nothing. Rayne Ames was given the title of the ‘Sword Cane’ because he’s merciless when it comes to a battle where he can summon his magic of Swords. Think Gilgamesh from Fate/Zero in that one attack with a thousand blades coming at you. But Rayne is somehow even more ruthless, because he has that teenage angst fueling him.
Listen, Rayne happens to be the youngest Divine Visionary and the youngest to acquire three lines. That alone gets him higher on this list.
3. Ryoh Grantz
I mean, you don’t become the captain of the Magic Security Forces by being an average wizard, now do you? And you can bet Ryon Gantz is going to be dramatic about it. The Light Cane is known for his theatrics and ego, which makes sense considering he’s one of the few people that can tackle dark magic using his own Lights magic. But at the same time, he isn’t unkind about his power levels, placing his duty of protecting the realm above everything else.
Still, a little chill from the guy wouldn’t be unwelcome. Ryon should take a page from Tsurara’s book, honestly.
2. Adam Jobs
That’s right, the founder of the Bureau Of Magic is a Divine Visionary himself. Even more, Adam Jobs happens to be the mentor of both Wahlberg Baigan and Innocent Zero. His magic, Darkness, is one of those magical skills that are ridiculously strong, considering it can just consume anything absorbed into a void. And his powers are vouched by others like Ryoh Gantz, who have said no one can match Adam Jobs.
But despite that, Adam Jobs remains a kind hearted individual, who realized that magical and non magical people alike could use his aid.
1. Wahlberg Baigan
We’re back on the Harry Potter train because how do you not describe Wahlberg Baigan as Albus Dumbledore? Like, that is literally just a satirical take on the character, down to his appearance. But that doesn’t mean the Headmaster of Easton Magic Academy is someone to underestimate. Even though he might not be at his prime, Wahlberg possesses the power of Space, being able to bend matter and consume it as he wishes.
But that is not even mentioning how Wahlberg can manipulate fire and even a little bit of Soul magic too. Like, he’s still got it.
Now, this list is by no means official, but I think it’s the closest to gauging the true strength levels of the top Divine Visionaries in Mashle. Still, if you think we got an entry wrongly ranked, sound off below!
